Where have my Practice figures gone?
On occasion the service desk receives a phone call from a customer, concerned their practice reporting figures seem to have disappeared. The figures indicate they are well behind their aspirational curve for a fast approaching year end. Each clinical indicator seems to register a count of zero, when previous reporting runs clearly demonstrated their practice was on course. So what happened with my figures?
QOF Categories Disabled?
The most likely explanation is that the QOF section of the BlueBayCT toolkit has been accidently disabled, and needs to be switched back on to generate the figures required.
Ensure the toolkit is in Practice Mode by closing down any active patient records
- Begin by right clicking the BlueBayCT Icon
- Click Settings
- Click Advanced
- Click Categories
Below is a screenshot of the Categories window. As you can see in the below example, each disease group has been “unchecked”. The effect of disabling these categories means your reports will have no figures, but in a clinical setting, the clinician will also not be presented with any clinical popups or warnings. In most circumstances these features were disabled by mistake.
- Enable each Category by adding the check (Tick)
- Click OK
- Click OK
- Sign out of your Clinical software (EMIS, TPP)
- Sign In (Only then will BlueBayCT apply the changes)
- Right Click BlueBayCT
- Click Practice Reports
- Click All (Or any individual disease group)
The report will now run and provide you with figures you recognise.
